In its 28 year history SIDAC has installed systems in a wide variety of manufacturing, industry and R&D applications utilizing the latest proven high speed/accuracy technologies. SIDAC designs, engineers, fabricates and assembles systems and sub-systems to rigorous specifications utilizing cutting edge machine vision, robotics, pneumatics and electromechanical technologies. Our solutions are seamlessly integrated into your existing process as new turn-key machines, or additions to existing systems that enhance productivity, reliability and quality.

We have extensive experience in quality inspection and rejection systems and Robotic and Cartesian handling systems for Automotive, Pharmaceutical, Aerospace, Food and Beverage and material handling applications. We also do limited scale custom manufacturing for the Medical Imaging market, and can provide programming, design, and fabrication services as required.

Brian Shelley | Co-President

Brian has worked in Automation technology businesses since 1991, and has served as co-President of SIDAC Automated Systems since its founding in 1994. He and the rest of the management team have seen SIDAC through a wide variety of projects as the world of automation technologies and systems evolves over time. He has a particular interest in the design, development and limited quantity manufacturing of proprietary devices in robotics and medical imaging technologies.

Jim Merekoulias | Vice-President

As Vice President, Operations at SIDAC Automated Systems Inc. Jim has overall responsibility for SIDAC business and technology operations. He is directly involved in sales and customer interaction, project engineering design, technology selection and system integration. His technical and business background includes 25 years of hands on experience with electro-mechanical motion control and robotic systems sales, technology assessment and hardware and software integration. His job is to understand our customer needs and to ensure the timely development of the most suitable, technically robust and cost effective solutions.

Usama Siraj | Project Manager

Usama, Project Manager at SIDAC Automated Systems Inc. oversees all aspects of project and system development from engineering design through technology, component and software selection though full integration. His mandate is to ensure your system is delivered in time and on budget, utilizing the best technologies available. Prior to assuming Project Manager responsibilities he worked in motion control and systems engineering, providing design integration and commission services and technical support in various industries.
